Your nutrition data is yours. Period.

The foods, supplements, medications, targets and daily logs you record in NuTrack belong to you and are stored locally on your device. You can export them at any time.

This policy covers two things: the data handled by the NuTrack app, and the information collected through the NuTrack pages on this website (evofactory.com).

Part 1 — The NuTrack App

Your nutrition data stays private

Everything you log in NuTrack — the foods, recipes, supplements and medications you create, the quantities you take, your nutrient targets, your meal schedule and your daily logbook — is stored locally on your device. It is never sent to us or to any third party.

Nutrition and health information can be sensitive. We designed NuTrack so that we simply never have it.

Camera & label scanning

NuTrack can use your camera to scan nutrition labels on food and supplement packaging. Recognition happens on your device, using Apple's built-in text recognition. Photos and video frames are processed in memory and are not uploaded to us or to any server. The camera is only active while you are on the scanning screen, and you can deny camera access in iOS Settings — you can still type in nutrition values manually.

Food databases

NuTrack ships with built-in food composition databases (for example national food databases) so that you can look up micronutrients without an internet connection. Searching these databases happens on your device; your searches are not transmitted to us.

App analytics

To help us understand how people use NuTrack and improve the app experience, we collect usage analytics through PostHog. This includes general information such as which features are used most often, as well as app performance metrics.

This data is designed to be analyzed statistically, not to identify you personally. We never ask for your email address to use the app.

Anonymous usage

It is perfectly possible to use NuTrack anonymously. The app does not require an account, a login or an email address. We do not ask for your real name.

The only time we ask for an email address is when you submit feedback or a support request from within the app, so that we can get back to you. If you would rather not tie your email address to your app usage, you can use our support form on the website instead.

Optional iCloud sync

NuTrack offers optional iCloud (CloudKit) sync for people who want to access their data across multiple Apple devices. This feature is:

• Completely optional — you choose whether to enable it.
• Protected by Apple — CloudKit uses Apple's secure infrastructure and encryption.
• Under your control — you can enable or disable sync at any time.
• Private — your data is stored in your personal iCloud account and accessible only through your Apple ID.

When iCloud sync is enabled, your data lives in your own iCloud account and is protected by Apple's security measures. We do not have access to this data, and it is not shared with any third parties.

Export & deletion

You can export your data from the app at any time. Deleting the app deletes all locally stored data. If you enabled iCloud sync, you can remove the synced copy from your iCloud account through iOS Settings.

Children

NuTrack is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Part 2 — The NuTrack Website Pages

Website analytics

Like the rest of evofactory.com, the NuTrack pages may use standard web analytics to understand general traffic and how visitors use the site. This website analytics data is separate from the nutrition data stored by the NuTrack app, and is never linked to it.

Waitlist form

If you join the NuTrack waitlist through the form on this website, your email address, your platform choice and any message you type are submitted to Formspree, our form submission service, for the sole purpose of notifying you when NuTrack becomes available. This information is used only for waitlist management and is not shared with any third parties beyond the form submission service. You can ask us to remove you from the waitlist at any time.

Support and contact form

When you submit a message through our support form, your name, email address and message are submitted to Formspree. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry or provide support. We do not share this information with any third parties.

We may update this policy as NuTrack evolves. The date at the top of this page tells you when it was last revised.
