Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 7, 2026

Your AI conversations never leave your Mac.

Session Board reads the sessions of your AI coding tools where they are stored, on your Mac, and keeps everything it builds from them there. The only thing the app sends is anonymous usage and performance data, with no personal data and no conversation content.

This policy covers two things: the data handled by the Session Board app for macOS, and the information collected through the Session Board pages on this website (evofactory.com).

Part 1 — The Session Board App

What the app reads

To build its list, Session Board reads the session histories that your AI coding tools (such as Claude Code, Claude Cowork, Codex, Cursor and T3 Code) already store on your Mac, under your home folder. macOS asks you once to grant read access; the app cannot write to these files and never modifies or deletes them.

These histories can contain your prompts, the assistants' replies, code, file paths, command output and anything else you or the tools wrote in a session. All of it stays on your Mac.

What the app stores, and where

Session Board keeps the following in its sandbox container on your Mac (~/Library/Containers/com.evofactory.sessionboard):

None of this is ever sent to us or to any third party. We have no server that holds your sessions, and no account is needed to use the app.

Analytics

To find out what makes the app slow and which features matter, Session Board sends anonymous usage and performance data, for example how long an index or a search takes, how many sessions are indexed, which features are used, and the app and macOS versions.

This data never includes:

It is not linked to your identity, not used for advertising or profiling, and not sold or shared.

Reopening a session

When you ask Session Board to open a session in its original app, it hands the session over to that app on your Mac. For apps that cannot open a single session from a link, it copies the session title to your clipboard so you can paste it into the app's search. What the original app does next is covered by that app's own privacy policy.

Deleting your data

Deleting Session Board from your Mac deletes its index, statuses and notes. Your tools' own session histories are not affected.

Children

Session Board is a developer tool. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Part 2 — The Session Board Website Pages

Website analytics

Like the rest of evofactory.com, the Session Board pages may use standard web analytics to understand general traffic. This is separate from the data handled by the app and is never linked to it.

Support form

When you submit a message through our support form, your name, email address and message are submitted to Formspree, our form submission service. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not share it with any third parties beyond the form submission service.

The demo on the page

The interactive demo on the Session Board page runs entirely in your browser with made-up sessions. Nothing you type into it is sent anywhere.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Session Board evolves. The date at the top of this page tells you when it was last revised.
